With over 20 years in the oil and gas industry, David Abshire brings a perspective that bridges technical expertise with business strategy. His background spans everything from field operations to executive leadership at major energy companies. Today he is CEO of Midwest Compressor Systems, the natural gas compression business that produces this show.
David's interest in the industry goes well beyond the technical. He is genuinely curious about the people who make it all work, and his conversational style creates an environment where guests feel comfortable sharing the insight they would not give a trade publication.
When he is not recording episodes, David consults with energy companies on operational efficiency and technology integration.
